The journey of Owerre-Umudioka through the ages
Umudioka people are the descendants of Dioka whose origin is shrouded in mystery and speculation. Dioka is an Igbo name associated with unique artistic talent transferred and inherited by his descendants in Diaspora.
Our history is rich with stories of migration, artistry, and resilience. From our origins to our unique cultural characteristics, there is much to learn about the Owerre-Umudioka community.
